The aim of this information is to make you aware of how I conduct shoots so that both you and I know the basic details and limitations before we work together. First and foremost, your safety and comfort is my main priority and concern. I have no expectation that you will be put in a position that you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, but IF there is anything at all that you are not happy with, please let me know: communication is the key to us both enjoying the shoot. To enable this, the following are some basic guidelines for how I work.
General Guidelines
- For all shoots conducted at a location that charges a fee (such as Airbnb), the cost will be split equally between all participants and myself unless otherwise agreed.
- You are more than welcome to bring a friend to the shoot and I encourage this. As an alternative, please keep a friend or contact updated during the shoot.
- I will not touch you in any way. If you require assistance with a pose or hair placement, etc I will do my best to direct you through communication and/or visual signs.
- I will offer you encouragement and tell you that you look fantastic in shots. This is done to both help make you comfortable and enjoy your shoot. I will not comment on your body or speak to you in any way that is unacceptable.
- Regardless of the agreed shoot genre (general, lingerie, nude, etc), you have control over your level of clothing at all times. If we have agreed to a specific type of shoot but you don’t wish to do that, then that is perfectly fine and we can either stop the shoot or stay at a level of attire that you are comfortable with. Again, the key to this is communication.
- Depending on your level of experience, I will likely direct you for some poses or body positions. I will always try to do this in a way that ensures your modesty, etc; however, if for any reason you are not happy with the pose I have suggested, please let me know.
- I will continually run you through each and every shot that we take as the shoot progresses. I will not hide any images and you can delete any images during the shoot you do not like.
Additional Time For Photos (TFP) Guidelines
- TFP shoots work on the basis that that you, myself and any other creative people (eg MUAH) involved have equal share in all edited images and produced content. We are all free to use these how we wish; however, no images (particularly nude/lingerie/intimate) are to be used for any commercial, publication or other uses beyond your own personal use (eg social media) without the permission of all creatives involved in the TFP shoot.
- If there is any doubt about whether an image should be used, shoot participants are to get agreement prior to releasing it publicly. If your shoot is a lingerie/nude shoot, I will seek your permission prior to posting any revealing images unless there is a prior agreement between us that it is ok (ie, we have previously worked together and there is mutual trust in content you’re comfortable with).
Additional Client Paid Guidelines
- As the client, you have control over the use of all images. I may request your permission to use some on social media (eg Instagram); however, this will only be done on a limited basis once you have agreed to if and which images can be used.

Essentially, your ability to enjoy the shoot rests on my professionalism and this is something I take extremely seriously. To re-emphasise, you are in direct control over how you are dressed, posed and the images we take. At any time you feel these points are not being met, please let me know. I cannot fix things or address your concerns if I don’t know there’s a problem.
With these points being said, the idea of shooting is to enjoy the experience and the creativity of getting fantastic shots. To do this, we need to work as a team and I will do my utmost to ensure you are included in all steps of the photographic process.
